Mikaeli Chamber Choir has long longed to indulge in languorous, expressive Renaissance music.
Now we do it!

And

Claudio Monteverdi's madrigal suite Lamento d'Arianna (Arianna's lament) from 1614 and Lamento della Ninfa from 1638 form relief for contemporary madrigals by Bo Hansson and Lars-Johan Werle. But inspiration comes from the same source - the immortal poets Ottavio Rinuccini and Francesco Petrarca!

Maja Verner Carlsson contributes to an in-depth experience with text and reading and Karl Nyhlin with playing the lute and theorb.
