An inexhaustible theme – this constant love!

Mikaeli Chamber Choir can't help but get a little dizzy in the month of May.

We sing about love from its different perspectives – happiness, melancholy, humor, passion - the music and lyrics are romantic, modernist, folk.

Wilhelm Peterson-Berger three love romances set for mixed choir made by the composer himself in 1927.

Folke Rabe's subtle, delicious choral suite "to love" from 1984 to lyrics by ee cummings; and then the main number:

Johannes Brahms loved Liebesliederwalzer op.52 from 1869 – eighteen love waltzes for piano four hands!

We will be giving the concert in a new venue for us – Norrmalmskyrkan on the corner of Frejgatan-Norrtullsgatan – a bright and open room with wonderful acoustics.

Pianists are Carlos Murakami and Elena Kaledina and our presenter is Maja Verner Carlsson.
