Mikaeli Chamber Choir is a mixed choir having its abode in the congregation of Adolf Fredrik's church in Stockholm. Love of music in general, and all the fantastic choir music in particular, provides the motivation for what we do. Ever since the start in the beginning of the 1970s, the uniting link, who provides continuity in our activities, has been Anders Eby, founder, conductor and artistic leader of the choir. Mikaeli Chamber Choir wants to act in the service of music, and let classic and expected music assume just as natural a place in our repertoire as the new music does - the unexpected and the unknown.

We are currently searching for new basses and tenors. Interested singers are welcome to contact the section leaders. Public admission tests will be held on the 9th January 2012. The spring programme for 2012 encompasses numerous items; two highlights will be a recording sesion in France and a concert together with one of the world's finest orchestral ensembles.
